На думку іноземних туристів,громадський транспорт Лондона є одним із найбезпечніших і якісно працюючих у світі. Такі результати дослідження,проведеного компанією TripAdvisor. Однією з важливих причин популярності лондонського метро для іноземців є його розгалуженість,а маршрути автобусів прокладені скрізь,де хотілося б побувати туристам. Також важливим плюсом є безпека транспорту,заявили опитані.
Самі британці,які щодня з важкістю добираються з передмість до столиці і назад,здивовані такою оцінкою.
На друге місце мандрівники поставили Нью-Йорк,який поступився Лондону по вартості проїзду в громадському транспорті. Ці два мегаполіса вже другий рік поспіль лідирують у рейтингу за опитуваннями туристів.
Що ж до чистоти в транспорті,то Лондон займає в цій категорії тільки четверте місце,пропустивши на перше місце Вашингтон,на другому – Токіо,а на третьому – Париж. Тим часом Лос-Анджелес визнаний містом з найжахливішою організацією громадського транспорту.
