Yanukovych officials coerced Peugeot Citroen into corruption

High level officials of Ukraine ministry of revenue and health ministry blackmailed Peugeot Citroen in Ukraine into participating in corrupt schemes,Oleksy Davydenko writes in Facebook Apr. 2.

The company’s top manager in Ukraine,Serge Banse,unveiled the corrupt schemes in Ukraine in his letter to a Ukrainian colleague. 

 “To make us quote a lower price for our vans,the ministry of revenue suspended customs clearance of all Peugeot and Citroen cars exported to Ukraine. 

The French company sold vehicles to the Praktyka Co. at UAH205,000 which later resold the vehicles at UAH650,000 – 850,000 to the health ministry after installing some minor medical equipment,” the French manager said. 

After lowering the price for the vans,all customs problems ended,he said.

The Praktyka Co. was favored by the Yanukovych family for selling 100 ambulances at discount price to Yanukovych’s son charity fund.
